التفاؤلية والإلتزام بالعلاج الدوائي لدى عينة من مرضى السرطان

Abstract

هدفت الدراسة إلى محاولة معرفة مستوى كل من التفاؤلية والإلتزام بالعلاج الدوائي لدى عينة من مرضى السرطان، وكذا معرفة فيما إذا كانت التفاؤلية تساهم في التنبؤ بمدى التزام المرضى بالعلاج الدوائي. وقد أجريت هذه الدراسة على عينة متكونة من 58 مريضا، باستخدام مقياسين، الأول: مقياس التوجه نحو الحياة (LOT) لكارفر وشاير والذي عربه محمد بدر الأنصاري، والثاني مقياس الإلتزام بالعلاج الدوائي لموريسكي(MMAS) ، وبعد التأكد من خصائصهما السيكومترية وباستخدام الأساليب الإحصائية المناسبة، تم التوصل للنتائج الآتية: - يتميز أفراد العينة بمستوى مقبول من التفاؤلية . - 53.44 % من أفراد العينة يتميزون بمستوى منخفض من الإلتزام بالعلاج الدوائي. - توجد علاقة إرتباطية موجبة ذات دلالة إحصائية بين التفاؤلية والإلتزام بالعلاج الدوائي لدى أفراد العينة. - يمكن للتفاؤلية التنبؤ بمستوى الإلتزام بالعلاج الدوائي لدى أفراد العينة. وخلصت الدراسة إلى أن سمات الشخصية الإيجابية -التفاؤلية- تلعب دورًا رئيسيًا في العديد من العوامل المرتبطة بالمرض المزمن عموما والسرطان خصوصا. The study aimed to reveal the level of optimism and medication adherence, as well as, whether optimism contributs to predecting patients’medication adherence.this study was carried out on 58 patients, using two self-reported scales, the first: the Arabic version of Life Orientation Test (LOT), and the second is Morisky Medication Adherence Scale (MMAS), after confirming their psychometric properties and using appropriate statistical methods, the following results were reached.: -the sample members were characterized by an acceptable level of optimism. -53.44% of the sample members were non adherents. - There is a positive statistically significant relationship between optimism and medication adherence among the sample members. - Optimism can predict medication adherence among sample members. The study concluded that positive personality traits - optimism - play a major role in many factors associated with chronic disease in general and cancer in particular. Therefore, attention to these aspects should be the focus of future clinical and research efforts.
